The facility is totally indoor, heated, and has central air conditioning with ceiling and exhaust fans to provide maximum comfort.
All dogs are leash walked, medicated (if necessary) and checked by staff morning and evening 7 days a week to ensure that house training is maintained – additional walks upon request.
For the discriminating pets, we offer boarding extras:

- Pamper and Playtimes
- Spa Packages (includes Nature Walk for dogs or Pamper and Play for cats, Bath and Blow dry, Brush out, and Nail Trim)
- Bath and Brush combination Packages
- Furmination Packages (Intense and Effective De-shedding Treatment)
Housing choices are chosen to provide maximum comfort to the pampered pet, based on needs and size of animal – owners are encouraged to bring favorite toys, blankies, or beds. Guests are fed only premium Hills Pet Foods (Science Diet) unless the owner specifies otherwise. New clients are encouraged to inspect the housing area before leaving their pets.
Current Vaccinations Required
Prior to boarding, proof of current vaccinations must be presented. This is both for your pet’s protection and the protection of other boarders. We can update the requirements during drop-off for boarding or will accept proof of vaccination record from another clinic (Faxed to 727-5575 or dropped off with pet). Due to the quality of boarding and care provided, our facility fills up fast, especially during holidays. Please reserve space well in advance. A credit card number will hold your reservation. To schedule your pet’s vacation or spa day, call the clinic at 515-727-5757.
Admissions and Discharges
Your pet will be admitted and discharged during regular office hours. If you have elected a Spa Day or Bath for your pet on the final day of vacation, please schedule pick-up between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
Veterinary Services During Boarding
Should your pet become ill while in our care, we will examine and treat your pet. You will be charged our regular feeds according to our current fee schedule. Payment in full is expected at the time your pet is discharged. Every effort will be made to contact you before services are rendered. Please make sure we have an emergency contact number for you.
