We are pleased to be your pet’s home away from home and provide a nice vacation for your feline or canine family member while you are away from Des Moines. We offer a safe, comfortable, caring and doctor-supervised experience for your pet. We can provide a long vacation for your pet or just day care for people on the go. We treat all boarders like one of our own family members.
The facility is totally indoor, heated, and has central air conditioning with ceiling and exhaust fans to provide maximum comfort.
All dogs are leash walked, medicated (if necessary) and checked by staff morning and evening 7 days a week to insure that house training is maintained – additional walks upon request.
For the discriminating pets, we offer boarding extras:
Housing choices are chosen to provide maximum comfort to the pampered pet, based on needs and size of animal – owners are encouraged to bring favorite toys, blankies, or beds. Guests are fed only premium Hills Pet Foods (Science Diet) unless the owner specifies otherwise. New clients are encouraged to inspect the housing area before leaving their pets.
Prior to boarding, proof of current vaccinations must be presented. This is both for your pet’s protection and the protection of other boarders. We can update the requirements during drop-off for boarding or will accept proof of vaccination record from another clinic (Faxed to 727-5575 or dropped off with pet). Due to the quality of boarding and care provided, our facility fills up fast, especially during holidays. Please reserve space well in advance. A credit card number will hold your reservation. To schedule your pet’s vacation or spa day, call the clinic at: 727-5757.
Your pet will be admitted and discharged during regular office hours. If you have elected a Spa Day or Bath for your pet on the final day of vacation, please schedule pick-up between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
