Dr. Michael Eberle has served the Des Moines area pet population for over thirty years. He came to this area in 1980 after graduating from the School of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University. He is past President of the Greater Des Moines Association of Veterinarians and started the popular “Dog Jog” which has become an annual event in the area.
He is a past member of the Iowa Board of Veterinary Medicine serving a total of nine years, the last three of which he was chair of that board. He also served on the board at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa and was Chairman of the Building Committee for the current facility. He was also President of that organization for four years. Dr. Eberle has long been active in the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association and served many years on the Legislative committee.
